Eryrys Gardening Club

Eryrys Gardening Club held its first meeting in August 2002 and the club has met on the last Wednesday of each month ever since.

Meetings take place in Canolfan Dewi Sant/St David’s Centre in Eryrys. Between September and April, the club is entertained by speakers on various topics. A Christmas Wreath Workshop is held on the 2nd Saturday of December; this year it will be on Saturday 7th December 2024, 1pm-3.30pm.

In January, a social meal at The Sun Inn, Eryrys of ‘fish & chips’ is arranged, everyone and partners are most welcomed; ‘Look forward to seeing you’.

During the summer months – May, June, July and August – visits are arranged to gardens and places of interest sometimes by appointment, most of which open for the National Garden Scheme. In June there is a Plant Sale to raise funds for the Club, members donate surplus plants or grow them especially for the Club. THIS YEAR OUR PLANT SALE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY 8TH JUNE 1pm-3pm

The only other income for the club comes from the £3 entrance fee paid to attend each meeting.

If you are interested in gardening, then do feel free to come along to one of the meetings. No Membership fees – just come for a chat and a cuppa!
