During the summer months – June, July and August – visits are arranged to gardens and places of interest by appointment, most of which open for the National Garden Scheme. In May there is a Hanging Basket Workshop and at the beginning of June there is a Plant Sale to raise funds for the Club, members donate surplus plants or grow them especially for the Club. The only other income for the club comes from the £3 entrance fee paid to attend each meeting.
