Tractor Show
Eryrys Vintage Gathering, formerly known as the North East Wales Vintage Tractor Show and Road Run, originated as part of the Llanarmon-yn-ialSheepdog Trials as a display of tractors, stationary engines and vintage vehicles. The display became a show in its own right in1996 and moved to Bob and Martin Clements' premises in Eryrys. Eventually the show moved to Waen Dyllog in 2001.
The Gathering, which always takes place on the last Sunday of July, starts with the vintage tractors going on a road run around the lanes and byways of the locality.
Attractions on the field include horse-drawn ploughing. cider-making, falconry display and stalls such as the Country Market. There is also a slow tractor race and a tug of war versus a tractor, as well as static displays of classic cars, motor cycles, stationary engines and vintage machinery.
