The Community Council precept is set annually. The Council agrees and publishes how much is allocated to purchase community items or pursue long-term projects the benefit of the community. The Council does not borrow money.

Members of the Community Council are not paid any allowances, except the Chairman’s Expenses. However, reasonable expenses are reimbursed upon request. In general, most Councillors do not usually claim expenses.

Good to see that details of what is being spent is now available here. It's a big change from a few years ago when I asked to see this information and was asked to pay £1 and was only given a basic three line account! Perhaps we could see the current precept (it's now October 2010), as the latest one shown only covers 2008/9 ? Certainly a move in the right direction though.
