Welcome to the website of Ysgol Bro Famau. We hope that as this website develops, it will become a place where you can gain information about the school and where we can celebrate our achievements.

We are lucky to be situated in an area of ‘Outstanding Natural Beauty’ in the Clwydian hills in the county of Denbighshire. Our school is a federated, twin site school, with units in Llanarmon –yn- Ial and in Llanferres, both serving children aged 3-11. We currently have 85 children on role coming from a wide rural area including the villages of Llanferres, Llanarmon-yn-Ial, Eryrys, Grianrhyd, Maeshafn and Tafarn-Y-Gelyn. Some of our children come to us from further away as well.

We are very proud of our caring and sharing ethos and believe we provide an excellent education with strong links to our local communities.
