A small group of us has decided to start an informal Poetry Society.
Whether as readers or writers, however much or little we know about metre, verse form and suchlike, as readers of classical or modern, we all enjoy poetry.
It would be helpful to have some idea of the level of local interest.

The inaugural meeting will be on the evening of Thurs 1st March*, on the auspicious occasion of St David's Day, in the Parlour at The Raven, 8pm.
At this meeting, we hope to decide as a group what form our meetings might take, when, where, and how frequent they should be.
Whether you would like to bring poetry you have written, new poems you have come across, or old favourites for us to read, please come along if you can,
