St David’s Day in the Raven Inn
The choir performed at the St David’s Day celebration lunch at the Raven Inn on Sunday 28th February. A wonderful three course welsh themed menu was served to 50 guests and musical entertainment was provided by Cor Dewi Sant and Ruth Evans, with accompaniment by Peter Litman the organist at St Peter’s Ruthin. At the end everybody in the pub joined together to sing the welsh national anthem ‘Mae hen wlad fy nhadau’. Well done to the Raven Mad team, especially choir member Nancy Lees, who organised the event and made the place look so wonderful.
