Gardening Club Visit in June
On June 16th, members of Dewi Sant Gardening Club visited Isgaerwen, nr Pentrellyncymmer. At 1,500 ft, isolated with stunning views, this 2 acre garden is an interesting mix of the formal and informal and includes shrubbery, woodland copses, herbaceous and bog gardens. The herbaceous beds are separated by hedges to prevent wind damage. We were made very welcome by Michael Williams and were even provided with cream teas!

- I really enjoyed this evening visit. It was a real adventure just finding the garden and I have to thank Steve and his exceptional navigational skills for getting us there so efficiently. The garden fitted in so well with its natural surroundings and I am in awe of people you have the talent to carry out their vision to a successful conclusion. Thankyou, Carol, for finding such an idyllic spot. I have some photographs of the visit which I can pass onto you. I'm looking forward to the next away evening!
