Choir Funds - We Need Your Help!
The first entry in the accounts book for Cor Dewi Sant is 22 February 2010, so I’m assuming that was the beginning of something magnificent. The choir and its repertoire have grown since then. I now have the grand job of being the treasurer and balancing the books!!!!
We each contribute £2 per attendance to the running costs of the choir and to supplement our diary of events. At our rehearsal last night (24 Jan 2012), we briefly discussed the fact that we need some outside funding from somewhere.
Last year we received £200 from The Community Chest. I am about to contact the Community Council, Cadwyn Clwyd and the Aggregates Fund. Viv Benion has offered to donate the proceeds of her garage sale this year and 3 anonymous donations have also been received.
