PARISHES OF LLANDEGLA AND LLARMON-YN-IAL
THE VAUGHAN AND JONES TRUST (Registered with the Charity Commissioners No: 1106840) EDUCATIONAL/APPRENTICESHIP AWARDS – 2018
The Vaughan and Jones Trust was established in 1746 to provide financial assistance for the moral and educational development of young people in the Parishes of Llandegla and Llanarmon-yn-Ial.
In its modern setting, amongst donations allocated by the Trustees to local schools and churches and chapels, the Charity, at its discretion, makes individual cash awards to assist young people in higher education, or who are following a recognised apprenticeship.
In order to be considered for one of these awards, applicants must be under 23 years of age and resident within the parishes of Llandegla or Llanarmon, on 31st. March 2018.
Applications can be made at any point within a course of study, or apprenticeship, once it has commenced, but only one award per student can be considered.
Applicants seeking University entrance, this year, or applying for apprenticeships may also apply, but the award will not be made until a place has been confirmed. Applicants may be called for interview by the trustees.
Further information and application forms are available from the Secretary to the Trustees, at the address, below. Applications must be returned no later than 30th. April 2018.
