As you all know we have been campaigning for some time to try and resolve the Superfast Broad Band problems across our ward.
As the BT contract for the roll out comes to an end we have areas in the ward that are still not connected, areas that are supposed to be connected but have insufficient capacity in their cabinets and some areas that may never receive the service.
Julie James the Welsh Government Minister responsible for the Superfast roll out has agreed to come to a public meeting that will be held on the December 7th between 11.30am and 12.30am in the Old School Room Llanarmon Yn Ial.
Everyone is welcome to attend and there is plenty of parking in the side roads just off the village centre. Their is limited parking at the Old School Room and the Raven is open for a full post office service between 12.00 and 2.00 that day.
I hope that you can make the meeting if you are still having problems with superfast BB and it will also be an opportunity to ask questions about the next phases of the roll out, alternatives such as Satellite, line of sight wireless and white space ( a TV channel experiment).
I would like to thank our AM Darren Millar for his help in arranging this meeting and I hope to see you all again on the 7th.
